Suitable Soups and Juices for a Hepatitis C Diet

There is a flood of products available to detox the liver, targeting people affected by illnesses that affect the liver, like hepatitis C. However, the treatment and condition of every person affected by hepatitis C are not uniform and depend on the severity of the symptoms and the health risks of an individual. Detox supplements could have salts and minerals that may be beneficial to some but detrimental to others, so it is better to opt for fresh, homemade drinks that can be made with easily available ingredients. These drinks are foods to manage hepatitis C that can also keep one from getting dehydrated, and in case of a loss of appetite, they can give the body the required nutrition and prevent malnourishment:

Beet juice
Bright colored vegetables and fruits are good foods to manage hepatitis C. To make beet juice, simply combine 1 beet, 10 carrots, 2 peeled oranges, 1 peeled lemon, and 1 piece of ginger in a juicer. Extract the juice and have it immediately. If using a blender, blend all the ingredients with ¼ cup of water and filter using a wire mesh. This can also be tried with one or more of the veggies or fruits, but ginger should always be added.

Beet and green juice
Combine one beet, a handful of greens, 1 apple, 1 cucumber, and 1 lemon in a juicer and extract the juice. This food to manage hepatitis C is best consumed fresh.

Spinach and avocado
